Off-Market Listings
What is an off-market listing?
An off-market listing is when a seller chooses to sell their home, but does not want to have it broadcast to the widest possible audience; which as we know, most eyes on listing usually leads to highest price.
However, there are some circumstances when a seller may say they don't want to do that. One example is when someone is well known/ famous, and does not want people coming through their home. They could have security and privacy issues, and they just want the broker to reach out to their network for a private sale
Another example of an off-market listing would be when an older couple, who don't have the ability to get out of the house often, and find it difficult to to leave for last minute showings. In this case they request to an outreach program to enable them to sell their home in a private way on a time frame that works for them.
Two very different situations but they do exist!
